Watch Out For Snakes

Everyone knows what's in the bush.

Browns. Tigers. The odd king brown if you're far enough out. You learn to walk heavy, watch where you put your hands, and never step over a log you can't see the other side of.

That's not the warning on this shirt.

Have a proper look at the sign. There's no reptile on it.

Because the ones that actually cost you something out there don't have scales. It's the bloke who asked one question too many about your setup. The mate of a mate who wanted to see the patch. The fella who was real friendly right up until the week your spot got cleaned out.

Every legacy grower in this country has a story about it. Most have more than one.

So read the picture. He's walking in loaded — pack on, duffel in hand, shovel strapped down, water on the side. Patch is up ahead through the scrub, camo over the top of it. He's alone, and that's deliberate. Nobody's been told where this is.

And down in the rocks by the path, an actual snake — coiled, ignoring him completely.

That one's honest about what it is. That's the difference.

The blank

300gsm pure cotton. Heavyweight and properly opaque — it hangs off the shoulder instead of clinging, and it comes out of the wash the same shirt that went in. Drop shoulder with a boxy body, so it sits loose through the chest and falls straight rather than tapering. Ribbed round neck that holds its shape.

Full-height front print, 52cm top to bottom.

Wash it inside out and it'll outlive the trend cycle.

A note on batches

Small variations between batches are normal — temperature, humidity and material lots all move the needle slightly. We chase these down as tight as we can, but a shirt made by people in the real world will never be identical to the one before it. We reckon that's a feature.
